Taylor Suprised Wichita Radio Stations

Taylor Swift stopped by some radio stations yesterday in Wichita, Kansas. She gave some suprise interviews! Managers for Taylor told a few executives from the radio stations, but they asked for it to be a secret. So, read the article below to find out more information about Taylor's visit to Kansas. I've also added a few photos of Taylor at the radio stations along with the articles.

WICHITA — Country star Taylor Swift made a brief stop in Wichita this afternoon, surprising staff members at radio stations KFDI-FM 101.3 and KZSN-FM 102.1, where she granted interviews about her just-released third album, "Speak Now."

Only a few top executives at both stations knew about the visits in advance. Managers for Swift, whose album sold more than 1 million copies in the first week it was released, asked that it be kept secret.

Swift, who appeared live on TV's "Dancing With the Stars" on Tuesday night, took a private plane from Los Angeles to Wichita this morning. She did the interviews, then immediately boarded the plane to head for Toronto.

At KFDI, where Swift stopped first, employees were surprised to see the 20-year-old star in the building.

Disc jockey Carol Hughes interviewed her about her album on the air from about 1:50 to 2:40 p.m., said Beverlee Brannigan, operations manager for Journal Broadcast Group.

Brannigan said she has a long-standing relationship with a member of Swift's management team.

"She wanted to come by and say 'Thank you' to our staff," Brannigan said.

When the interview was over, Swift, who had her mother, Andrea, with her, met with and talked to staff members.
